Trituration of Naja naja naja

Eva, Anna , Annalena, her daughter Lilou and I met to produce a homeopathic remedy for ourselves - we chose the Indian cobra (Naja naja naja) for our trituration (= grinding the substance with mortar and pestle and potentiate it with lactose up to a C4). After a while, Lilou decided to triturate cookies instead - a very wise decision!

Christmas cookie baking 2008

In the end of November, Tina, Katja and me met for a christmas-cookie-handicraft-movie-watching-weekend. And we were veeery productive - see?!

HighLife 2008

Every year in November we meet with a whole bunch of kids to organize a campaign on a politically relevant green topic of the kid´s interest - this time they choose "organic and fairtrade food vs. pesticide burdened and genetically modified food". The discussions prior to the demonstration were really interesting and I think the kids had not only a lot of fun playing fruit, weeds, milk and farmers at their pro-organic street play, but also learned a whole lot about their daily diet and where it comes from.

Karl-Gustav the cornsnake

He´s growing and growing - isn´t he the most beautiful little snake on earth?

Emil´s visit to the wild ones

Emil was about 2 month old when Yvette, Eva and I took him to the Tierpark - shame he slumbered most of the animals away:)

Wilseder Forum für Homöopathie - 10/08

All homeopathic study groups of German medical universities meet twice a year to share their experience, learn new things and spend a couple of days together. Below: on our way home, Annika, Eva, Mischa and me had a stopover in Cologne, where we went on a quick trip to the famous dome.

Wildlife-Fobi 2008 - VII - gathering food

It´s time for dinner!
We searched for maggots, snails and other protein sources, prepared fish, collected stinging nettle leaves, rose hips and apples and digged out dandelion roots. Feeding on natural sources is hard work, but in the end it can be very rewarding - yummeeee!

Wildlife-Fobi 2008 - VI - the sweatlodge is finished!

Wildlife-Fobi 2008 - III

We can´t help smelling at every shit we find...:).
I was more than delighted that one of us found this biggest-dead-of-the-forest-ever: a wild hog! Awesome!!!! Unfortunately, it smelled a bit, so the guys sleeping next to it weren´t soooo fond of this great corpse:)

Wildlife-Fobi 2008 - II

In October 2008 the AK Wildlife members of Naju Thüringen & Hessen met for 4 days in a Forest near Jena to practice and expand their outdoor skills. This time, our focus was on tracking, food from natural sources (leaves, roots, fruit, maggots, snails, killig & preparing live fish), sweatlodge building and fur tanning.
